It's been a very busy few weeks at work so I've not posted a single additional Gettysburgpicture. Alas. But their time will come, have no doubt! What time I've had for dcMemorials has been directed toward research and, dare I say, ... marketing. If my feeble attempts in that direction can be considered such.

But on a different note ... Today I enjoyed the very first photo submission from the outside world. What a delight! Artemas Wardis, at last, among the pictured at dcMemorials.com thanks to a much appreciated viewer. I hope to be the happy recipient of many manymore photos from ya'll. I'll have much more to say about that in the future ... Well, since we're just amongst friends here, I'll let you in on a little secret. Check out gMemorials.com. Is that hubris or what? Just pursuin' my passion, pals.

While stumbling about looking for something else (can't recall what), I happened upon my Pediment, metope & frieze. Oh my!pages. They're actually quite good I must say. You should check 'em out. Be sure to look for the many links sprinkled thru-out. The architectural terms themselves have links to Wikipedia articles. The teacher within me was ragin' that weekend. BTW, does anyone get the allusion to Oz?

One other thing before I go. dcMemorials.com is exploding! And I mean that in a good way. The numbers are modest, but the growth is (literally) exponential. Check out this graphic. In the neighborhood of 6,500 hits from 600 "unique visits" every day in March. Don't know exactly what that means but, dang, I love that graph. Click on dudes!

See ya later.
