Potomac Park

The West Potomac Park is a U.S. national park in Washington, D.C., adjacent to the rectangular part of the National Mall. It extends south of the Reflecting Pool, from the Lincoln Memorial to the grounds of the Washington Monument. The park is the site of many national landmarks, including the Korean War Veterans Memorial, Jefferson Memorial, Franklin Delano Roosevelt Memorial, and the surrounding land on the shore of the Tidal Basin. Many of Washington's famed cherry trees are located here & it is the focal point of the annual Cherry Blossom Festival. East Potomac Park is is located south of the Jefferson Memorial and the 14th Street Bridge between the Washington Channel and the Potomac River. Hains Point is at the end of the park where the channel meets the river. Source: Wikipedia articles on West & East
