25th NY Vol Cav Monument:
Dedicated in 1914, this memorial honors those men of the 25th NY Volunteer Cavalvry who died in the fighting around Fort Stevens on July 11-12, 1864.
Life-size Union Army Cavalry officer atop 6' h pedestal. Soldier carries musket over L shoulder, drawn sword in R hand, scabbard on L hip. W side has info in bas-relief w/bronze dedication plaque. Southernmost of four memorials.

West face:
"Sacred to the memory of our comrades/ who gave their lives in defense of the/ national capitol July 11, 1864"
"Erected by the State of New York in honor of the 25th N.Y. Vol. Cav."

122nd NY Vol Monument:
Dedicated in 1904, this memorial honors those men of the 122nd NY Volunteers who died in the fighting around Fort Stevens on July 11-12, 1864.

10'h obelisk on 1' h rough-dressed pedestal. W side has state seal, bas-relief Greek Cross & engraved info. E side has bas-relief info & bronze battle plate below. Names of the dead & wounded on N & S sides. Cap has decorative scroll ornament. Located second from left, facing west.

98th Reg PA Vol Monument
Dedicated in 1891, this memorial honors those men of the 98th Regiment PA Volunteers who died in the fighting around Fort Stevens on July 11-12, 1864.
8' h obelisk atop 1' h rough-dressed base. Bronze regimental seal on W side, names of wounded & killed engraved on the N, S & E sides. Greek Cross adorns all 4 sides of the cap, which is slightly convex in shape. Third memorial from the left. Faces west.
Granite inscriptions:
West face : In Memory/ of/ our comrades/ killed and wounded/ in battle/ on this field/ July 11th & 12th 1864. Bronze regimental seal below.
"98th Reg't. P.V./ 1st Brig. 2nd Div. 6th Corps"
North face: Wounded In Battle/ July 11th & 12th 1864 (15 names)
East face: Wounded In Battle/ July 11th & 12th 1864 (13 names)
South face: Killed In Battle/ July 11th & 12th 1864 (8 names)

Dedicated in 1907, this memorial honors those members of the 150th OH National Guard, Company K unit who served and died during the battle of Fort Stevens on July 11-12, 1864.

5'h arched block, w/polished surfaces & rough sides, atop 1'h rough dressed pedestal. Engraved on W side w/state seal & "MEMORIAL/TO/CO.K. 150TH O N G I/WHICH TOOK PART/IN THE DEFENSE OF/FORT STEVENS, D.C./JULY 12, 1867.
