dcMemorials.com is indexed in several different ways. Probably the best place to start is with the full index which lists each of the 1,500+ pieces. Statues of people are listed alphabetically based on last name. A text search (e.g. Ctrl-F from your keyboard) might be the best way to find something from this long list.

The subject index will, for example, take you to a list with the dozens of sculptures about George Washington or the hundreds on the subject of religion. I have to admit that I haven't been diligent about keeping this index fully updated.

The artist index will, for example, take you to a list with all of the dozen sculptures by Robert Aitken.

If you know something about the location of the statue or if you just want to know what statues are in a particular vicinity, then read the next two answers about the site map. The metro index might also be useful, but I have to admit that I haven't been diligent about keeping it updated either.

I'm happy to answer your email questions to the best of my abilities as well.
